ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SATIN BIRCH LARGE KNEEHOLE DRESSING TABLE / CIRCA 1880 MATCHING WASHSTAND & HALF TESTER BED ON MY website
The DRESSING TABLE is in good overall used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice,

IT BEARS THE MAKERS STAMP FOR H OGDEN MANCHESTER ON THE INSIDE EDGE OF 1 DRAWER

The dressing table has a large shaped top mirror which mounted on carved shaped wooden uprights, beneath is a central kneehole which is slightly lower than the pedestals, the kneehole has shaped corner brackets and panelled detail to the back,

the pedestals each have slightly over hanging tops, turned wooden knob handles and mahogany interal slides to the top drawers, they both stand on a plinth base,

the L H pedestal has 2 drawers above a double deep drawer with dummy drawer front,

The R H pedestal has 4 drawers which graduated in height.

the dressing table has a pine & mahogany carcass with Satin Birch veneered detail throughout,

Condition Report:
The dressing table is 100% sound, sturdy and free from woodworm, the mirror has slight foxing to the bottom edge, the top of the L H pedestal has a couple of scratches and the R H pedestal has a slight crack to the top (see close up pictures)

It has a couple of slight repairs to the bottom edge near the plinth and also where the kneehole shelf meets the R H pedestal, one chip to the back R H side corner.

the rest of the woodwork is in good overall condition but will does various slight marks which are in keeping with an Antique used item,


Measurements
69" high, 58".5 wide and 24" deep overall

the kneehole is 24" X 27" wide.

GOOD ART DECO MAPLE & WALNUT DRESSING TABLE / DESK & CHAIR C1920-30 Matching pieces offered separately on MY WEBSITE
The DRESSING TABLE & CHAIR are in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice, It dates from Circa 1920-30

The Dressing table is a lovely quality example and has simple classic Art deco lines, it has the original chrome handles & striking birds eye maple veneered detail with stepped walnut crossbanding throughout the piece,

IT WOULD ALSO MAKE A GREAT DESK IF THE MIRRORS WERE REMOVED,





The dressing table has 3 shaped bevelled mirrors which all move to give a good all round view, beneath is a slightly sunk centre with a plate glass protective top, it has 2 good sized drawer arranged around the kneehole which have chrome handles and stylish corner brackets, it stands on 2 pedestal type ends which are stepped at the bottom, these have lidded compartments at the top and cupboards at the ends, the cupboards have 2 internal shelves,

The Dressing table is a lovely example and no expense has been spared when making this piece, it has a fully mahogany lined interior, even the reverse of the doors / lidded compartments have been veneered and crossbanded, it also has chrome hinges..

The matching chair has a panel back and green fabric drop in seat (fabric can easily be changed) the chair stands on square tapering legs

The top of the dressing table above the kneehole is 29".5 high, under kneehole is 23" high X 38".5 wide.

Chair 29" high, the seat is 15" wide, 12"deep and 18" from the floor.


CONDITION..
The dressing table is sound, sturdy and 100% free from woodworm, the R H end mirror has a very slight chip to the R H corner (see close up very minimal) the flat sunk centre top is slightly lighter than the rest of the maple, the woodwork will have the odd slight marks here and there which are commensurate with age, the R H end cupboard door has a couple of slight veneer repairs, as does the chair..

LARGE ANTIQUE ARTS & CRAFTS PINE & WALNUT DRESSING TABLE / CIRCA 1890 matching large Wardrobe & bedside cabinet also on MY WEBSITE
The dressing table is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice,

It is a very striking piece which has great Arts & Crafts styling & solid brass handles whilst also offering excellent storage, it is made of walnut, pine and has ebonised detail throughout the front of the piece.

It has a large bevelled and framed mirror which is mounted too sturdy elegant turned columns using the brass fittings, alongside is spindle detail and 2 jewellery type drawers (top drawers come with lock & key in good working order)

beneath is a slightly sunk centre top which has a centre drawer above a pair of cupboards with internal fixed shelf, these are flanked by a pair of pedestals each with 4 good sized deep drawers, the dressing table stands on an inverse stepped plinth.

UNUSUAL ART DECO GREEN OAK CORNER DRESSING TABLE & STOOL CIRCA 1930-40
The DRESSING TABLE is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice, It dates from Circa 1930-40,

It is very striking piece which has 3 high raised mirrors which move independantly and form an angled circle, the mirrors are fixed to wooden struts at the back,

It has two 3 drawer pedestals which each have chrome and black stylish Art Deco handles, the pedestals are joined by a curved wooden shelf, (black formica tops to all 3, possibly later addition) the top L H drawer has a wood & green baize lined sliding jewellery tray, (lifts out)

the dressing table stands on a plinth base with line detail at the front corners.

Matching ebonized oak Art Deco stool which is upholstered in cream abstract fabric, it has shaped ends, padded upholstered seat and a stretcher.

The stool has a couple of slight chips to the veneer at the edges, this is covered by the ebonizing.

It is a lovely example which offers excellent storage and is smothered with inlay to the front, it has an oval framed bevelled mirror which is supported by shaped uprights above 2 small jewellery type drawers, it has an overhanging top above 2 half and 2 large drawers, these all have ornate metal handles and fantastic inlaid detail, it stands on a sturdy plinth base.

ANTIQUE WALNUT DRESSING TABLE WITH TRIPLE MIRRORS 1901

The dressing table is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice,

It has a large main mirror which has carved detail to the top of the frame and arched inset bevelled mirror panel, the mirror is supported by upright corner columns which have pierced decoration, it also has 2 shaped side mirrors which both move independantly to give a good all round view, beneath is a single shaped shelf above 2 small jewellery drawers with ornate metal handles, the lower section offers excellent storage and has 2 half drawers above 2 long deep drawers, all drawers have figured walnut fronts which contrast nicely with the darker tone of the piece, the drawers also have the original ornate metal handles, the dressing table stands on 4 turned legs with castors.

It is made of Walnut and dates from Circa 1890-1900, it has just been refinished in Lamp Room Gray,

It has rectangular mirror which has a floral carved pierced pediment, this is mounted on wooden uprights, beneath is a single shelf & a small drawer,

the chest section has an over hanging top above 2 small drawers & 2 large drawers all with original metal handles (refinished)

the dressing table stands on 4 square tapering legs with castors
