The Bureau bookcase is in good overall used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice,
It has an ornate shaped top above a pair of astragal glazed doors, these come with lock and key in good working order, there are 3 solid mahogany shelves which can be adjusted in height,
The bureau section has a traditional slope front with lock & key in good working order, when open the writing surface is supported by cantilever lopers which are located at each end,
The interior has a black leather writing surface, various pigeon holes and 2 small drawers with knob handles.
The bureau has 2 large long drawers with dovetail joints and ornate brass handles, the bureau stands on 4 square legs and has fret carved detail to the front and sides.

The bureau is 100% sound, sturdy and free from woodworm, the leather surface has various light scuffs (no rips)
the writing slope front has 4 slight cracks to the front possible due to slight shrinkage, the sides to the bureau section has splits to the sides, it will have the odd other slight faults here and there which are minimal & commensurate with an Antique piece.

The top can be removed from the base for ease when transporting

finished in Craig & Rose "Eau De Nil" chalky emulsion, then slightly distressed.
The bookcase offers excellent storage and is a neat compact size at just over 2ft 6 inches wide, the bookcase section has a pair of leaded and glazed doors with lock & key in working order, it has 2 internal shelves which can be adjusted slightly in height, the bureau section has a slope front with arched detail and an oak lined interior, it has various pigeon holes, 2 small drawers and a maroon vinyl writing surface, beneath is a single drawer and a pair of cupboards with arch & scroll carved detail, both have wooden knob handles, the cupboard has a single internal shelf, the bureau stands on bracket feet.

It dates from Circa 1930 and is a very practical piece, it has a bureau section in the centre which has carved detail, the interior is clean & tidy and has various pigeon holes and 2 small drawers, beneath is a single drawer with turned wood handles above a cupboard with stylish Art deco one piece wooden handles, (single wooden shelf to the cupboard) alongside are 2 astragal glazed doors with floral carved detail, these have floral carved detail and have lock & key in good working order, they have 3 solid oak internal shelves which can be adjusted in height, it stands on twin circular bulbous front supports with platform base

It is a good example of a reproduction bureau which is made of Yew and has striking inlaid detail to the slope front,
The bureau comes with lock & key for the writing slope and top drawer which are in good working order, the interior has 2 drawers a central cupboard and 2 large pigeon holes, it also has a green leather writing suface (good order no rips just a couple of faint scuffs)
Beneath are 4 large drawers with ornate brass handles, these are flanked by end columns and the bureau stands on bracket feet.

The piece dates from Circa 1930 and is a very practical piece, it has a bureau section in the centre which has a flame mahogany front and crossbanded outer edge, the interior has various pigeon holes and 2 small drawers, it also has a leather writing /work surface which is in good condition, (one large mark/blemish to the interior)
beneath is a single drawer and a cupboard with lock and key in good working order, (single wooden shelf to the cupboard)
alongside are 2 tall bookcase sections each with astragal glazed doors and 3 internal wooden shelves, these can be adjusted to various heights, the bookcase stands on 4 claw & ball cabriole legs.
