| HIGHLY ORNATE VINTAGE FIGURED WALNUT TALLBOY CHEST / CABINET / CIRCA 1940

The TALLBOY CHEST is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice.
It has striking figured walnut veneered detail to the top and the front of the piece, it has ornate pierced metal handles and moulding to the edge of the cupboards & drawer fronts,
It has a pair of cupboards with 2 internal shelves, beneath are 3 large drawers all with dovetail joints with ornate brass handles.
The tallboy stands on cabriole legs..

Condition Report:
The TALLBOY is 100% sound, sturdy and free from woodworm, it has slight fading to the sides and the top but this is very minimal, it has a slight mark to the top of the cabinet and 2 slight repairs to the moulding on the drawer fronts..
all faults are minimal and in keeping with a Vintage used item..

each shelf section is approx 7" high

It has a plate glass protective top above a pair of cupboards with single internal shelf, beneath are 3 large drawers all with dovetail joints with ornate brass handles.

The Tallboy is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice, It dates from Circa 1930.
It is a stylish example which offers excellent storage, it has a pair of panel door doors at the top which enclose a single shelf, beneath are 2 large drawers which have dovetail joints, the tallboy stands on a sturdy plinth, the interior is clean and tidy and is fully mahogany lined.

the Cupboard section is 22".75 high overall, the shelf can be removed.
Condition..
The Tallboy is sound sturdy and 100% free from woodworm, the tallboy has a good even colour throughout, it has slight veneer repair to the L H side near the top and the bottom R H back corner, it will also have the odd slight marks here and there which are commensurate with age, the base has slight rubbing to a couple of small areas, see close ups !!

The TALLBOY CHEST is in good overall but used condition and is ready to place in the setting of your choice, It dates from Circa 1910-20.
It has a rectangular top above a pair of panel doors which have a central medallion with burr wood veneered detail and 2 brass knob handle, beneath are 2 good sized drawers each with 2 solid brass acorn type pull handles, the tallboy has slightly canted sides with floral carved detail, it stands on 4 elegant cabriole legs.
